Last season, Ralph Lauren invited the fashion pack out to The Hamptons for his spectacular Spring 2025 showcase. For the Fall 2025 season, the legendary American designer ventured back to his home turf of New York City, and welcomed guests inside the Jack Shainman Gallery in downtown Manhattan for the occasion. A bevy of A-list talent (including Naomi Watts and Anne Hathaway) sat perched front row as Ralph’s latest collection made its way around the light-infused showspace, worn by models like Anok Yai, Lulu Tenney, and Layla Etengan. The affair was quintessential Ralph Lauren – modern, romantic, and bohemian in feel. On display was everything from luxurious velvet tailoring and paisley maxi-skirt suits to shirt dresses and sophisticated evening frocks.

“Always amazing!” [caioherrero]

“Sublime, from opening to closing look. Quintessential Ralph Lauren and not one single misstep. It’s all just so immaculate and polished – from the casting to the Jack Shainman Gallery setting. I’m just in absolute awe…” [vogue28]

“Not his best but a beautiful and luxurious collection. What I hated is the huge quantity of bags in the first part of the show. They distracted me because Ralph has always been about clothes, and not bags that are too in your face.” [carla56]

That’s a complete wrap on Paris Fashion Week, with the 9-day fashion extravaganza coming to one almighty close last night following a megawatt presentation from Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent. Vaccarello was tasked with closing out The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s schedule and amped up the drama with a “fantastically 80s” collection.

Earlier in the week, the second portion of Paris Fashion Week served up the Fall 2025 collection of Victoria Beckham, who presented a collection that focused on form-fitting dresses and strong tailoring. This season, the Hermès woman got tougher while Elie Saab was all about après-ski glamour. Statement fur was seen on coats, boots, headpieces, and bags. At the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie, Seán McGirr explored the relationship of English urban life and the great outdoors for McQueen.

Now onto his fifth Valentino collection, Alessandro Michele insisted his models strut a red-tiled runway, decked out in extravagant gowns, embellished suits and lace headpieces. At Balenciaga, Demna served up everything from floor-length hoodies and officecore looks to bathrobes and sportswear-inspired looks. Nicolas Ghesquière once again tapped into the traveling spirit of Louis Vuitton while Miuccia Prada sought inspiration from the 1950s for Miu Miu.

From the last ready-to-wear collection by the Chanel in-house design studio (before Matthieu Blazy‘s debut in October) to Harris Reed now onto his fifth season as the creative force behind Nina Ricci – scroll further for part two of theFashionSpot’s highlights of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025:

The final night of Paris Fashion Week granted us the unveiling of the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 collection. Anthony Vaccarello closed out PFW (for the first time) the only way he knows how – with a star-studded fashion extravaganza. Stars like Kate Moss, Catherine Deneuve, and Zoë Kravitz were just some of the A-list talent scattered along the front row. More was undoubtedly more, with bold colors and volumes dominating the Saint Laurent runway this season. Vaccarello, who has served as creative director since 2016, sought inspiration from Monsieur Saint Laurent’s work from the 80s, embracing his use of color and sculpted shoulder silhouette. To top it off? Bella Hadid staged another runway comeback for Vaccarello, helping the Belgian designer close out PFW with one almighty bang!

Saint Laurent Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Is he leaving ? The soundtrack definitely indicated that, unless I am reading into it too much.” [Salvatore]

“I was getting the same vibe. Hope that’s not the case though, despite its glaring flaws, Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent has been a favorite of mine. I hope that he at least makes it to the 10-year-milestone.” [LadyJunon]

“That was a sad show and a boring collection. Three silhouettes repeated a million times in different colors.” [Avonlea]

“Vaccarello’s collections are like when you have stretch out your essay as much as you can to hit the word count. It’s literally just a handful of looks reproduced in various colors. And the looks are always something plucked from the archives. He’s the laziest designer out there.” [Marc10]

“What a snoozefest. If anything, I think there is a talent in how Vaccarello can somehow suck the life out of everything.” [crisistunity]

“Absolutely stunning. The music made me really emotional all of a sudden for some reason.” [proseccotabis]

“Those color combinations, volumes and proportions at the start of the collection are FABULOUS. So bold, graphic, rich, and oh so fantastically 80s. Admittedly, however, I am not a fan of those dresses toward the end of the collection. They’re awful and feel out of place – like an afterthought.” [vogue28]

“I can see big-volume gowns are not his forte, because they look weird in motions by the way they bounce, it’s just seem off. Good color palette, I guess.” [THD96]

Earlier today, the fashion pack gathered together to witness the Chanel Fall 2025 collection, on the final day of Paris Fashion Week. The collection marked the final ready-to-wear collection before Matthieu Blazy takes the reins at the historic French fashion house in October. Crafted by the in-house Chanel design studio, the collection was packed with classic house codes, centering around the theme of bows and ribbons. Inside the nave of the iconic Grand Palais, situated right in the heart of Paris, a large black ribbon-like structure rose over the guests sat front row (including the likes of Tyla, Elle Fanning, and Simone Ashley). Bows came in all different sizes, and materials with trompe l’oeil effects. Elsewhere throughout the collection, pearls, tweed boater-style hats, and ruffles reigned supreme.

Chanel Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Some of the looks are so dated, I can’t believe they would put them on the runway. It also felt like a collection by 6 or 7 different designers responsible for different things (knitwear, tailoring, evening), with no single vision.” [Kennnnn]

“A clash of different collections basically. After two good RTW collections from the studio this feels a bit disappointing.” [FashionPower]

“The poor models are drowning in the clothes.” [Mrs.T]

“For Chanel, same old same old. Always baffled by how dated and ugly the shoes are.” [GivenchyAddict]

“The collection itself feels very soulless.. The presentation itself doesn’t help too much either. You’ve got the Grand Palais and you can’t make it grand?” [thiago]

“The initial looks are really hard to digest. I don’t like it. Let’s see what Matthieu Blazy will do. I place my last hopes on him…” [fashionlov]

Day eight (of nine) of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025 and Nicolas Ghesquière just rounded out the fashion festivities with the Louis Vuitton Fall 2025 collection. Ghesquière has been the creative force behind the iconic French fashion house since 2013, and renewed his contract with LVMH in 2023 (for an unspecified amount of time). This season, the French-Belgian designer once again tapped into the traveling spirit of Louis Vuitton. Stage within inspired by a Parisian train station, guests (including brand ambassadors Lisa and Léa Seydoux) sat front row as models paraded the set sporting Ghesquière’s mashup of maximalist ruffles, big volumes, wide shoulders, buttery leathers, chunky knitwear, and faux fur. Elsewhere throughout the collection were sneakers, technical outerwear, and breezy gowns cementing the notion more is more.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“I think this is his most confident collection yet. No styling tricks, and you can see the clothes for a change. So many good outerwear.” [tourbillions]

“Maybe my favorite set and in terms of presentation, probably one of his best show at Vuitton. And the non-finale finale was fabulous. Great energy. I like the collection a lot. I have a bias, as Nicolas is the last one standing of my favorite designers in activity.” [Lola701]

“I think it is a good collection. Personally, I found the beginning more exciting and then I started losing interest, in part because of some dejà vus, in part because I was a little bored by the color palette. Still solid, not overdesigned, with impressive set.” [Monsieur Cristobal]

“Usual NG. Some of this is exquisite and some is equally repulsive.” [dancv]

“Is it just me or this collection feels like a retrospective? I see elements from his first show, the one at the Louvre’s basement, the Palm Spring show, the Centre Pompidou one, the spaceship collection at Cour Lefuel, etc. Overall, it’s a good Nicola’s collection. It’s quite romantic and modern.” [KilltheLook]

“Definitely a retrospective as I’ve spotted many silhouettes done in the past. It was for me an overwhelming mash-up of all the codes he created at the helm of LV. It was too much to appreciate most of the looks and it is one of my least favorite collections from him. Some looks were just straight ugly and nothing to save about. Besides that, he delivered the usual top-tier casting, set design and music.” [GivenchyAddict]

The Fall 2025 season of Paris Fashion Week rages on, with tonight granting us the Balenciaga Fall 2025 collection from Demna. The Georgian designer has been the creative force behind Balenciaga since 2015 (succeeding Alexander Wang), and renewed his contract (for an unspecified time) with the Kering-owned fashion house in October 2024. This season, Demna set his latest showcase to a soundtrack of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Models emerged from backstage and stormed down a lengthy black runway, decked out in an array of buzz-worthy looks. Demna served up everything from floor-length hoodies and officecore looks to bathrobes and sportswear-inspired looks (giving us our first glimpse at the Balenciaga x Puma collab).

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“The worst runway walks I’ve ever seen…” [prylvi]

“Wow. I don’t like it at all. Repetitive, not memorable. First years were much better, but now… back then even if you don’t like the aesthetic, there were hit products. Now it’s just… generic to me.” [RosesAreRed]

“I would have walked out after the first 3 outfits. What a waste of time. He didn’t even bother with theatrics this time.” [Avonlea]

“God it was so bad! Literally nothing original.” [Simera]

“The packable puffers and the Puma tracksuits was the most pedestrian proposition I’ve ever seen on the runway. This wasn’t like The Row where they’re showing basics styled in an interesting way; it was a Dick’s Sporting Goods catalog at best.” [ecnerretneerg]

“This feels like a step backwards after last season’s flirtations with boudoir fetish. I’m sure that upon close inspection things aren’t exactly what they ‘seam’ but as a spectacle, especially watching from a screen, it feels drab and dour.” [Delleone]

“Maybe the worst Balenciaga collection from the last twenty years, and that includes Alexander Wang’s tenure.” [Monsieur Cristobal]

“This reaaaallly feels like a swan song…” [justpassingthrough]

The Fall 2025 season of Paris Fashion Week is the gift that keeps on giving. Today’s time slot at 3PM of The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s schedule granted us the Valentino Fall 2025 collection from Alessandro Michele. The celebrated Italian designer was announced as Valentino creative director in March 2024, subsequent to the sudden departure of Pierpaolo Piccioli. Michele is now onto his fifth collection for the Paris-based Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani. Titled “Le Méta-Theatre des Intimités”, Michele’s bold set evoked a rave and consisted of a red-hued public bathroom. Models took to the red-tiled runway decked out in extravagant gowns, embellished suits and lace headpieces which stayed true to Michele’s maximalist spirit.

Valentino Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“I almost forgot there is a Velentino show.” [JohannesL]

“Bad. This is bad. I am sorry that Lana Del Rey soundtrack wouldn’t save the clothes.” [blackcherrified]

“If you have to force it, it is probably sh*t, which is the reason this was shown in a bathroom, because this collection is sh*t.” [TianCouture]

“The same old sh*t.” [GivenchyAddict]

“I am so curious with Mr. Valentino thinks about this collection, show, and Alessandro Michele in general. Don’t know how long he is going to last here, but I hope not too long. I miss Valentino being pretty.” [Salvatore]

“A bunch of archives pieces styled together. A broken record at this point. Not good or bad. It’s rather forgettable in a way despite the fact that the quality is there.” [Lola701]

“Alessando Michele just gets on my nerves at this point. Always showing the same things, except they’re in different pretentious and faux deep contexts. He’s going to have to tweak his own POV or this is going to be a long tenure.” [Thefrenchy]

“All I can say is: please someone make sure Valentino Garavani himself does not watch this show. He’s 90, he could get a stroke by watching his legacy destroyed.” [FashionPower]

We’re now on day six of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025, and The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s jam-packed schedule granted us the Alexander McQueen Fall 2025 collection from Seán McGirr. The Dublin-born designer is now onto his fourth collection as the creative force behind the London-based fashion house, having succeeded the long-serving Sarah Burton in October 2023. This season, at the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie, McGirr explored the relationship of English urban life and the great outdoors. Sweeping floor-length dresses featured opulent flowing ruffles. Regal trench coats and lace stockings were adorned with floral embroidery, crystal-embellished masks were on full display, and the iconic McQueen skull print making a comeback. A selection of looks were finished off with hats designed by Philip Treacy.

McQueen Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“They must have spent most of the budget on that weird, unnecessary portal thing.” [youthinasia]

“I forgot about the existence of this brand. This man does not understand the essence of McQueen but also fails to bring something worthwhile. His tailoring always looks cheap. Why are we dragging scarves on the floor?” [reese06]

“Another tragedy at Kering.” [Grets]

“The first look gave me some hope but it quickly went downhill. This guy has no vision and his Tumblr sensibility doesn’t help.” [Avonlea]

“I mean it’s fine but I don’t give a single flying f*ck about that brand. Menswear is a nonevent and womenswear is a variation on archive.” [Olaffo]

“This collection isn’t as offensive as his debut. In fact, it’s actually okay-ish, but the struggle with tailoring is still obvious, and the rest of the show feels like a bunch of costumes, really” [perhydrol]

“I was expecting something very bad but I enjoyed it for what it is. I think he is becoming more and more confident at the helm of McQueen so hopefully for him, Kering will let him one or two seasons more.” [GivenchyAddict]

The Fall 2025 season of Paris Fashion Week has been in full swing and full of highly-anticipated directional debuts since day one. Running from Monday, March 3 until Tuesday, March 11 – perhaps the best of The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s jam-packed schedule is yet to come.

PFW started off with one almighty bang, as Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her latest for Christian Dior. The designer sought inspiration from the gender-crossing character of Orlando from Virginia Woolf’s eponymous novel. Alaïa’s Pieter Mulier made a triumphant return to the Paris Fashion Week calendar this season, while Julian Klausner finally made his womenswear debut as Dries Van Noten creative director.

Eighties silhouettes, embroidered over-the-knee boots, and zebra print reigned supreme at Balmain. Haider Ackermann staged his first collection as Tom Ford creative director – receiving a standing ovation from Mr. Ford himself (as well as our very own forum members). At Chloé, Chemena Kamali continued to double down on her Bohemian vision for the legendary French fashion house. Julien Dossena’s Rabanne showcase brought some serious razzle dazzle to Paris Fashion Week.

Dramatic collars, strong shoulder pads, and killer heels were on full display at Rick Owens. At the historic Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, Daniel Rosberry served up his Texas-inspired Schiaparelli collection. Sarah Burton welcomed guest inside the iconic Givenchy atelier on 3 Avenue Georges V, to present her very first collection inspired by the rich archives of the fabled French fashion house.

Daniel Roseberry has been the creative force behind Schiaparelli for almost six years, having replaced Bertrand Guyon in April 2019. The Texan-born designer’s vision for the storied Paris-based fashion house continues to go from strength to strength. As part of Paris Fashion Week, Roseberry unveiled the Schiaparelli Fall 2025 collection to a crowd including Doechii, Regina King, and Doja Cat. Inside the historic Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, models like Gigi Hadid, Awar Odhiang, and Alex Consani emerged from backstage and into a dark and moody set, sporting Roseberry’s equally as dark and moody (and oh so fabulous) collection. Surrealism met urban life with the collection. Blazers were tailored to exaggerated proportions, gold belt buckles were a focal point, handbags were oversized (a slight understatement) and cowboy motifs were splashed throughout as the designer paid tribute to his Texas roots.

“Bravo Daniel. Beautiful collection. One third of the looks are more Tom Ford coded than what Haider tried hardly to do. Elegant, sexy, vibrant, glam, a bit dark and super relevant.” [IloveDiorHomme]

“Take notes Haider, this is what a Tom Ford collection should look like! Exquisite collection full of glamour and appeal. Bravo Daniel!” [VogueDisciple93]

“My first thought was also Tom Ford. Probably the setting, lighting and color palette.” [XPreme]

“Absolutely stunning show, I love the elegant designs and the gloomy colors that he chose. The coats are also stunning, and since fur has been making a comeback I hope they’ll sell well.” [svpernova]

“It’s a very tactile collection as usual. The fabrics are exquisite too. I love the couture-inspired dresses but there’s also a very IG baddie vibe I’m not really into.” [Lola701]
