Linda Gumus Gerritsen continues to find her footing at Vogue Netherlands. After replacing Yeliz Cice as editor-in-chief, the magazine’s former fashion director has seemingly made it her mission to serve up models as cover stars. Throughout 2025, Jill Kortleve, a handful of rising Dutch models, and brother/sister duo Parker and Bess van Noord made last month’s front cover. This month, for May 2025, Dorit Revelis takes to the cover of Vogue Netherlands. The Israeli beauty poses for photographer Jorin Koers for the occasion, with Linda Gumus Gerritsen herself reporting for styling duties (à la Christine Centenera). In the tranquil and serene cover shot, Revelis seemingly channels Michaela Bercu and is dressed in a cognac-colored jacket from Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski’s Spring 2025 Hermès collection.

To say we’ve had a love/hate relationship with Samira Nasr at the helm of Harper’s Bazaar could be an understatement. At the very least, however, Nasr tends to drop covers featuring our beloved and cherished fashion models from time to time. Models to front the Hearst-owned title over recent years have included everyone from Naomi Campbell to Irina Shayk and Liu Wen to Lauren Hutton. Next up as Harper’s Bazaar cover girls are Alex Consani, Anok Yai, and Paloma Elsesser. The girls of the moment pose before the lens of Ethan James Green, with Bazaar style director at large Carlos Nazario enlisted as cover shoot stylist for the occasion. Across a quarter of April 2025 covers, the fashion darlings pose throughout the minimalist cover shoot sporting new season looks from Hermès, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Phoebe Philo.

“I really like the covers. The colors feel very harmonic and they compliment each other,” echoed thiago.

That’s a complete wrap on Paris Fashion Week, with the 9-day fashion extravaganza coming to one almighty close last night following a megawatt presentation from Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent. Vaccarello was tasked with closing out The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s schedule and amped up the drama with a “fantastically 80s” collection.

Earlier in the week, the second portion of Paris Fashion Week served up the Fall 2025 collection of Victoria Beckham, who presented a collection that focused on form-fitting dresses and strong tailoring. This season, the Hermès woman got tougher while Elie Saab was all about après-ski glamour. Statement fur was seen on coats, boots, headpieces, and bags. At the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie, Seán McGirr explored the relationship of English urban life and the great outdoors for McQueen.

Now onto his fifth Valentino collection, Alessandro Michele insisted his models strut a red-tiled runway, decked out in extravagant gowns, embellished suits and lace headpieces. At Balenciaga, Demna served up everything from floor-length hoodies and officecore looks to bathrobes and sportswear-inspired looks. Nicolas Ghesquière once again tapped into the traveling spirit of Louis Vuitton while Miuccia Prada sought inspiration from the 1950s for Miu Miu.

From the last ready-to-wear collection by the Chanel in-house design studio (before Matthieu Blazy‘s debut in October) to Harris Reed now onto his fifth season as the creative force behind Nina Ricci – scroll further for part two of theFashionSpot’s highlights of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025:

On January 27, Kendall Jenner made a stylish appearance outside the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show for Paris Fashion Week. She looked chic in a fun leather blazer layered over some basics. While her look was surely laid back, she didn’t miss the opportunity to add a hint of luxury with elegant pieces from The Row and Hermès.

Kendall Jenner makes another stylish Paris Fashion Week appearance

Kendall Jenner’s Paris Fashion Week photos are proof that the model knows how to make a fashion statement, even when she is keeping it nice and casual. She was recently spotted outside the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show, which she walked the runway for in a gorgeous gown with structured hips. However, after the show, she kept her fashion choices laid back, donning some simple basics.

The supermodel was spotted in a comfy black-and-white combo. According to Elle, she went with a white tee from Éterne and straight jeans from The Row. However, her leather jacket from the Olsen sisters’ luxury fashion label stole the show with its double lapels. The tan leather piece added intrigue to the overall look.

She paired her ensemble with boots from The Row, with the black pair blending in well with her jeans. However, Kendall Jenner’s Paris Fashion Week look wouldn’t be complete without a touch of luxury. She incorporated it with a suede bag from Hermès. The luxe piece was a stunning Birkin, with the model matching it with her leather jacket. She also shielded her eyes with a stylish pair of sunglasses from Gucci.

Jenner kept her beauty choices quite minimal, rocking the same hairstyle from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show. Her dark hair was impeccably sleeked back into a tight bun. For her makeup, it was all about the rosy hues. She opted for a beautiful rose pink lip shade. The model also brought back some color to her cheeks with the use of pink blush, applying a generous amount to highlight her features.

The Fall 2025 season of Menswear Paris Fashion Week has been in full swing since January 21, and officially closes out today on January 26. Since day one, the jam-packed schedule the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode inflicted upon the fashion pack has been a one for the books. Day one kicked off with Pharrell Williams staging his seventh collection as Louis Vuitton menswear creative director. The designer sought his inspiration from rich Vuitton archives, and teamed up with Japanese designer Nigo.

At the Palais De Tokyo, Rick Owens demonstrated he was still in the mood for nostalgia and reflected on the early days of his eponymous fashion label. Julian Klausner, the newly-appointed Dries Van Noten creative director, called upon Willy Vanderperre to lens the brand’s Fall 2025 menswear lookbook. The collection consisted of flouncy, exaggerated shoulder pads, pussy bow blouses, feathered collars, and blazers lined with floral patterns.

The time soon rolled around to digest the latest Dior Men collection from Kim Jones, marking his first post exit as Fendi womenswear creative director. Inside a vast structure erected at École Militaire, models soon came down a vast staircase dressed in a collection that took direct inspo from a Monsieur Dior couture collection from 1954. The monochromatic color palette recalled that of the iconic ‘New Look’ as Jones revisited archival elements such as opera coats and detachable sleeves.

We don’t know where you’ve been if you weren’t aware Condé Nast share content across various publications under their roster. Vogue is certainly no exception. Throughout 2024 alone, Vogue Germany has repurposed shoots starring the likes of Adut Akech, Kate Moss, Hunter Schafer, and Devyn Garcia. Fresh from celebrating 40 years of print with Sandra Hüller, Kerstin Weng plucks a story from the November 2024 issue of British Vogue for this month’s Vogue Germany offering. Karolina Spakowski becomes a Vogue Germany cover girl in the process. Photographed by Charlotte Wales and with styling from Harry Lambert, the German beauty poses out in the great outdoors, surrounded by silk Hermès scarves and sporting a look from the French fashion house in the cover shot.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“A beautiful cover featuring Karolina Spakowski. Love the placement of the Hermès scarves, autumn colors, the styling, and the outdoor photography. Spakowski has the perfect stare and is a natural beauty. It is definitely one of the best covers published this season thus far. Bravo!” applauded MModa.

“Gorgeous cover and editorial. Karolina with the orange Vogue masthead is a match made in heaven,” shared forum member crmsn.

“This is actually quite creative with how they used the Hermès scarves on the clothesline, I like it,” Drusilla chimed in.

Tigerrouge pointed out: “This is the Charlotte Wales story that’s also in British and Spanish Vogue!”

“This whole reprint/sharing strategy Condé Nast still insists upon is so unfortunate. However, on this occasion, I believe Vogue Germany made good use out of a repurposed cover shoot. The art direction works. I like the orange masthead, the layout, and the fact it’s Karolina Spakowski on the cover,” vogue28 voiced.

That’s a complete wrap on Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025, with Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant of Coperni taking the fashion pack to Disneyland Paris to “magically” round out the fashion festivities. Since September 23, a total of 66 physical runway shows and 40 presentations have taken place within the City of the Light over the past week, making the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025 season a one for the books.

Report: Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025

Mid-afternoon on Friday September 27, with a wildly star-studded cast including Gigi Hadid, Hedi Klum, Marcia Cross and Anok Yai (as the bride), Guram Gvasalia staged his latest Vetements collection, inspired by the Paris underground. Against a romantic and candle-lit backdrop of the Château de Bagatelle, Victoria Beckham presented her Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025 offering of sculptural breast plates, mixed print dresses, and cut-out tailoring.

Andreas Kronthaler brought punk to Paris for his Vivienne Westwood showcase while Nadège Vanhee-Cybulsk served up chocolate leathers that looked like butter at Hermès (and not even a PETA protester could distract from superb craftsmanship). Come nightfall on Saturday September 28, it was time to bare witness to the sophomore collection of Seán McGirr as McQueen creative director. Inside Paris’ École des Beaux-Arts, the Irish designer paid homage to the Alexander McQueen Fall 1994 collection, razor-sharp tailored suiting and Celtic influences.

Come Sunday, all eyes were on Alessandro Michele as he staged his debut runway show as Valentino creative director. Models paraded Michele’s designs of sumptuous fabrics, cascading ruffles, sequins, and bow detailing around a draped set and walked on a floor of broken mirrors. Closing out the weekend, Isabel Marant confirmed that the western trend is set to regain its momentum for Spring 2025, with a collection boasting fringe jackets, studded bags, and suede pieces.

Monday commenced with an open-air show from Stella McCartney at Paris Fashion Week. Oversized bags, suits, round form plush jackets in pastel colors, and splashes of red were consistent throughout McCartney’s lineup. Gabriela Hearst ditched New York for Paris this season, showcasing her creations on the Left Bank. Eclectic knits, sheer sheaths, and crinkled gold separates took the runway, next to sophisticated tailoring and some Western influence. To a remix of Gimmie More by Britney Spears, models at Balenciaga walked out onto an elevated catwalk, inspired by a dining table. Balenciaga creative director Demna, experimented with hoodies and denim, transforming jeans into gaiters and showing oversized sweatshirts with slogans that read “Fashion Designer”.

On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Chanel (still without a creative director) ventured back to the Grand Palais. The Chanel Fashion Creation Studio team, gave us charming 1920s-style collars and classic tweeds that honored the brand’s rich heritage, while ostrich feather trim and delicate sheer looks floated past guests towards the end of the show. The finale was topped off with a live performance from Riley Keough, who gave attendees a rendition of Prince’s When Doves Cry, sat perched on a swing inside a vast white birdcage. At Miu Miu, Miuccia Prada doubled down on the no-pants look for another season. Nicolas Ghesquière honored the rich Louis Vuitton heritage with a runway inspired by the French fashion house’s signature trunks. Ghesquière’s lineup featured open peplum shirts, flowing silk dresses, oversized shoulder pads, and patterns by artist Laurent Grasso.

“Go off and show off, Nicolas! Let the girls know you can challenge taste without it being ugly. It looked expensive, it didn’t look tortured. Bravo!” [reese06]

“I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT. The soundtrack, the trunks as a runway. I loved the footwear, the bags, and the accessories. Ghesquiere is hitting his stride, I am so excited. I loved this collection, and I usually feel a way about what he’s been doing but I love, love, loved all of it.” [jeremydante]

“Styling is 50% of the brand now, and I just find it stupid. Just stupid.” [yslforever]

“1000x better than Seán McGirr’s debut.” [justpassingthrough]

“This is light years away from that heinous debut. It’s unexpectedly good. It’s not on Lee’s (or even Burton’s) level, but it’s was a good collection and a good show. He should’ve dumped the heavy platforms in favour of sleek stilettos and “floating” heels, but one thing at a time.” [LadyJunon]

“For me this show was a massive improvement from his debut, massive. We can all agree that we will never get McQueen in the dark version of yore, that’s a thing of the past. But I thought that McGirr this time got his s**t together and delivered a much more focused and commercially appealing collection.” [bc collector]

“I can’t imagine the Paris fashion week without Yohji and the lovely Hôtel De Ville. Hands down one of the best collections this season!” [Kanzai]

HIT | Isabel Marant

Here's Part Two of the Hits & (Surprising) Misses of Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025

“It might be her best collection!” [prylvi]

“Isabel Marant really has a POV and makes the girls look great. Why can’t Pucci or Cavalli make shapes like that? So simple and easy.” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]

“Easy clothes for women to wear. I’ll take this over a lot of other collections this season.” [donyan]

HIT | Sacai

“It’s very Bouchra Jarrar, which makes me love it!! [IsabelMarantBoy]

“It’s really quite a captivating collection. Love the way some of the fabrics sit on the models, almost like armor.” [GoldenPetals]

“Love almost everything here! It’s hard for me to translate Sacai sometimes beyond the deconstructions, but this time they nailed it for me.” [Ihhbl]

HIT | Akris

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“Finally a tasteful and elegant collection is such a boring and underwhelming season. I usually like Albert Kriemler’s work and he remains underrated. One of the only collections to get frills right and the orange section is quite sublime as well.” [Fiercification]

“I like this. So sleek and easy on the eyes. There’s just something that seems so pure about this.” [Cocteau Stone]

“I like this so much! A relief to see this. A nice breeze through this collection – just the right timbre with pleasant moments. It’s so light. Bravo.” [TerraVera]

MISS | Duran Lantink

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“This is flat as a pancake. What’s the content? Feels like a New York brand trying its hand at being avant-garde.” [Norden]

“It was interesting for a milli-second…” [90sfan]

“I want to know who is backing this brand? All the campaigns, shows every season, that kind of casting and all that press meanwhile you have 4-5 pieces on a rack in Dover Street which doesn’t seem to sell.” [NoInvite]

MISS | Stella McCartney

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“This is so messy.” [youthinasia]

“It’s a bit all over the place indeed. I can’t see any cohesion in this collection. Oversized suits, chiffon dresses, leather dresses, t dresses, ripped pants/tops/dresses, lace, wool balloon tops, sequin, pearls. cut-ouPhew, that’s a lot to take.” [Valentine27]

“It’s like the Ann Taylor and Hervé Léger shows got mixed together.” [Irere]

MISS | Gabriela Hearst

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“She should stay in NYFW where this collection belongs.” [JohannesL]

“”As a Uruguayan designer, Gabriela Hearst would have the ideal opportunity to put the traditional fabrics of her country and Latin America on the international map, but this set of things is a mix of meaningless things that, instead of making you raise an eyebrow, invites you to close both eyes.” [IndigoHomme]

MISS | Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“Sad to say… I just don’t feel Vivienne anymore.” [bennyboy]

“Where’s the ‘punk’? How can you be anti-mainstream, when you create something so easily digestible? With a brand like VW I don’t even care if it’s try-hard or edgy or obnoxious, because that’s the entire point!” [Machinegumm]

“It was cleaner, more commercial. It lacked that defiant punk energy that Vivienne did so well.
Even the runway soundtrack was odd, it wasn’t Vivienne Westwood at all.” [jeremydante]

HIT | Hermès

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“Hermès womenswear is one of a kind! Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is doing an exceptional job! Great collection. Love the see-through knit. Stunning. Nobody does timeless luxury like them.” [imjustken]

“I really enjoyed the show! Loved the set and also the dynamic walks. I find the collection very appealing.” [Valentine27]

“This is absolutely sufficient for Hermès. It’s the quiet conservative high-quality luxury that its clientele is looking for. Hermès is the LAST fashion house that needs to be ‘fashion-forward’. The brand is already so mature and so well SET, it already has a reliable surefire formula – both commercially and creatively.” [GoldenPetals]

MISS | Vetements

“Dreadful.” [GoldenPetals]

“I couldn’t care less about the clothes. Pure trash.” [thiago]

“Wants to be Balenciaga, it ends being Philipp Plein.” [carla56]

See all the looks from the Vetements Spring 2025 collection.

MISS | Victoria Beckham

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“She’s desperately trying to be someone she clearly isn’t.” [helmutnotdead]

“Why is Victoria Beckham always trying so hard to be someone she isn’t? She should do a sexier, more glamorous take on minimalism and stop with the artsy nonsense.” [avonlea002]

“She could donate the money to the poor, instead of doing poor fashion every season.” [90sfan]

See all the looks from the Victoria Beckham Spring 2025 collection.

HIT | Junya Watanabe

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“I love this! Saw the first look and knew this was going to be a hit. Junya rarely disappoints.” [Machinegumm]

“The amount of ideas here is on a whole other level, very impressive.” [tatouejeremie]

“Absolute gold! zeroWhat a relief after the barrage-effortfort collections from all the other brands!” [amak]

See all the looks from the Junya Watanabe Spring 2025 collection.

MISS | Ann Demeulemeester

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“Another brand that makes no sense without its founder.” [avonlea002]

“Ann D mixed with ‘dumpster diving homeless people’. Stefano Gallici better correct course for next season, because this is NOT the direction this brand should go.” [Machinegumm]

“Ann was never ratty. Bohemian, yes, in the likes of Baudelaire perhaps but not ratty.” [Not Plain Jane]

HIT | Ludovic de Saint Sernin

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“His work is starting to grow on me. It’s well constructed, which isn’t something most of his peers can say.” [LadyJunon]

“Not even going to lie and probably will be put into tFS timeout, but … I am into it!” [Savatore]

“I think this is beautiful…” [thiago]

MISS | Coperni

IMAGE | SPOTLIGHT/LAUNCHMETRICS

“Their shows have been so hyped and are always so… whelming? IDK.” [thenewclassic]

“How do you say ‘Stunt Queens’ in French?” [Jacque Marcel]

“So Kylie was obviously just there to make the show go viral?” [nationalsalt]

If you thought the first portion of Paris Fashion Week was something to behold for the Spring 2025 season, the second half of the 9-day event granted us just as many fantastical fashion moments. McQueen’s Seán McGirr staged his sophomore collection as creative director, presenting razor-sharp tailored suiting and references to the Alexander McQueen Fall 1994 collection. Alessandro Michele made his long-awaited debut as Valentino creative director, staging his first runway at the helm of the luxury Italian fashion house. Sumptuous fabrics, cascading ruffles, sequins, and bow detailing were on full display, as models walked across a runway of broken glass. Chanel staged its first prêt-à-porter show without an official creative director while Nicolas Ghesquière‘s Louis Vuitton showcase paid homage to the rich heritage of the French fashion house.

See, we told you the second half of PFW would save the best moments for last. Scroll further for part two of theFashionSpot’s highlights from Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025:

It has become somewhat of a tradition for us here at theFashionSpot to throw it back a whole decade, on the eve of each fashion week. You’ve encountered our New York, London and Milan installments and now it’s time to head back to the Spring 2015 season of Paris Fashion Week.

Sarah Burton was the creative force behind Alexander McQueen in the September of 2014, offering up a collection based on her very own treasured collection of antique kimonos and intricate fabric swatches. Cropped jackets and asymmetrical mini skirts had a rock ‘n’ roll sensibility at Anthony Vaccarello’s showcase and a sporty vibe oozed from Alexander Wang’s monochromatic Balenciaga collection. Riccardo Tisci sent out a gang of his model muses decked out into corsets, leather pants and thigh-high boots at Givenchy. Simon Porte Jacquemus transformed his runway into a beach scene, complete with parasols, deck chairs and the sound of waves crashing for his Spring 2015 nautical-inspired collection. Hedi Slimane continued to display his love for all-things glam rock at Saint Laurent while the late Karl Lagerfeld staged a protest at the Chanel show, complete with models (like Cara Delevingne and Gisele Bundchen) shouting through megaphones.

Editions of Vogue from across the globe continue to throw support toward the athletes competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics. British Vogue‘s Chioma Nnadi is rooting for Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Sofia Raffaeli and Milena Baldassarri front Vogue Italia’s digital installment while Team Australia are splashed across Vogue Australia. At Vogue Thailand, editor Kullawit Laosuksri places three of the countries Olympic hopefuls on the July 2024 cover. Give it up for sprinter Anika Chati, sailor Arthit Mikhail Romanyk and swimmer Supha Sangaworawong. The trio pose for photographer Thada Varish in the portrait cover image, sporting looks from Prada, Hermès and Loro Piana, as chosen for the occasion by Jirat Sappisankul.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Reminds me of an 80’s Trapper Keeper binder,” pointed out jeremydante.

“Reminds me of trash,” an underwhelmed phungnam96 chimed in.

“Reminds me of graphing paper I used in Geometry class. Triggering. This edition is a lost cause. They can actually follow Vogue Philippines’ classy and clean format given that they also have a rich culture but they chose to be tacky and cheap-looking,” voiced crmsn.

“Looks like a teen magazine,” noted Lovetojudge24.

Also not enthralled by the latest from Vogue Thailand was tigerrouge: “It’s like they’re living in a graph paper world with giant rulers. Three students trapped in a Tron-like dimension, except here they have to escape by sitting through a series of math exams.”

Not everyone, however, was left so disenchanted. “I like it, it’s a bit minimalist and not so in-your-face but nevertheless it gives ‘fashion x OG’ energy. They are good looking too,” Bertrando3 reasoned.
