That’s a complete wrap on Paris Fashion Week, with the 9-day fashion extravaganza coming to one almighty close last night following a megawatt presentation from Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent. Vaccarello was tasked with closing out The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s schedule and amped up the drama with a “fantastically 80s” collection.

Earlier in the week, the second portion of Paris Fashion Week served up the Fall 2025 collection of Victoria Beckham, who presented a collection that focused on form-fitting dresses and strong tailoring. This season, the Hermès woman got tougher while Elie Saab was all about après-ski glamour. Statement fur was seen on coats, boots, headpieces, and bags. At the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie, Seán McGirr explored the relationship of English urban life and the great outdoors for McQueen.

Now onto his fifth Valentino collection, Alessandro Michele insisted his models strut a red-tiled runway, decked out in extravagant gowns, embellished suits and lace headpieces. At Balenciaga, Demna served up everything from floor-length hoodies and officecore looks to bathrobes and sportswear-inspired looks. Nicolas Ghesquière once again tapped into the traveling spirit of Louis Vuitton while Miuccia Prada sought inspiration from the 1950s for Miu Miu.

From the last ready-to-wear collection by the Chanel in-house design studio (before Matthieu Blazy‘s debut in October) to Harris Reed now onto his fifth season as the creative force behind Nina Ricci – scroll further for part two of theFashionSpot’s highlights of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025:

Today, the festivities of Paris Fashion Week came to an almighty close, with Miu Miu officially rounding out the PFW schedule and fashion month as a whole. The first portion of PFW gave us a stellar and dazzling display from Saint Laurent, we sat and watched Peter Do make his debut on the PFW calendar and witnessed Gabriela Hearst take her last bow as creative director of Chloé.
The second half of the week upped the ante to deliver us another series of showstopping moments, including Sarah Burton’s last outing as creative director of Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney staging a makeshift French market, Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Valentino show took us inside the great hall of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Art while the true genius of John Galliano was on full display at Maison Margiela.

Vogue España September 2020 : Dora Postigo by Ezra Petronio

Spain has been one of our go-to magazines lately thanks to a series of must-have covers starring Hailey Bieber, Ana de Armas and Miriam Sanchez. (Not to mention the title’s beautiful and serene answer to the global health crisis.) For September 2020, the Spanish fashion bible’s cover stars Dora Postigo, daughter of model Bimba Bosé. Making her very first Vogue cover appearance, the Spanish singer sports a colorful bob and a checked look from Noir Kei Ninomiya for the image photographed by Ezra Petronio.

The cover didn’t fare well on our forums, however. “She looks like an Instagram influencer,” declared MDNA the moment the cover dropped.

“What is with that hair?” asked a horrified Miran.

“Really bad, looks like a backstage snap at a third-rate fashion show where the designer cast his friends. The type is also large and pretentious. This shouldn’t even be a supplement cover,” YohjiAddict chimed in.

Phuel felt the same way: “Absolutely. What’s worse is it resembles those backstage shots where heavy-handed retouching is sloppily applied. No one’s eyes are that white and no one’s complexion is so smooth…insultingly amateur post-production.”

“Wow, I’m really surprised at Vogue Spain for getting it so wrong. The cover isn’t awful, but for September? Plus, they have Ezra behind the lens. Huge fail,” said an underwhelmed Benn98.

“The thing about Ezra is that when he’s good, he’s incredibly good, but when he’s bad, he’s ridiculously bad. To be honest, I can’t find anything good about this bland cover,” added helmutnotdead.

“Um, based off this cover, I think I would have preferred Dora the Explorer,” joked justaguy.
