Sarah Snook Might Have Deserved Better (Once Again) as Vogue Australia Cover Girl

As editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia, Christine Centenera has mastered the art of securing both homegrown and international talent as the magazine’s cover stars. Representing Australia over recent months via the Aussie fashion bible’s front covers have been the likes of Troye Sivan and Miranda Kerr. Centenera, who succeeded Edwina McCann at the top job in 2023, secures Sarah Snook as a Vogue Australia cover girl for April 2025. Four years after her debut Vogue cover appearance, the Australian actress poses before the lens of photographer Jessie Lizotte. Against the backdrop of the Gardens of Tieve Tara in Mount Macedon, Australia, Sarah is dressed by stylist Kalia Matthews in a look from the Prada Spring 2025 collection.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“I wish Sarah Snook had the Annie Leibovitz, Lachlan Bailey, Chris Colls, or Camilla Akrans treatment. I am glad for her, though. Good styling, just some harsh photography,” critiqued BalkaniStaCouture.

“I love her but this is something I hate about Australian Vogue: no taste at all,” phungnam96 ranted.

Also not exactly best impressed was Avonlea. “Everything about this is awful. Another edition that is completely unnecessary,” they stated.

“I wouldn’t have bothered. This is like an image from a Sunday supplement,” shared Kite.

“99% of Vogue covers from down under are cringe. The direction is worse than amateur. It’s incompetent,” discredited Squizree.

“The art direction is awful. This feels so lazy and clueless. Condé Nast has no standards these days,” chimed in forum member TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu.
