OK, we hold our hands up. ELLE Italia doesn’t receive the attention and recognition it deserves here on theFashionSpot, especially when compared to the American, British, Chinese, or French editions of ELLE. The last time ELLE Italia truly commanded our attention was back in September of 2024 when Edie Campbell graced the Italian fashion weekly. Fast forward six months and it’s a repeat performance, as the publication presents its biannual issue dedicated entirely to fashion. ELLE Italia editor-in-chief Manuela Ravasio ushers in Candice Swanepoel as cover for the occasion, who poses before the lens of photographer Giampaolo Sgura. The South African model (perhaps known for her work with Victoria’s Secret) is celebrated across a trio of covers. Styled by George Cortina, Candice wears looks from the Spring 2025 collection of Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and Celine.

Today, Giorgio Armani was tasked with closing out the Fall 2025 season of Milan Fashion Week. Last season, for Spring 2025, the legendary Italian designer ventured to New York and made a triumphant return to Milan to present his Giorgio Armani Fall 2025 collection. The undisputed king of Italian fashion further displayed his vision of elegance and sophistication, back where he belongs on the final slot of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s calendar. Sig. Armani sent an assortment of streamlined silhouettes in sumptuous and opulent fabrics down the runway. Embellished trousers, gossamer frocks, and delicate knits (mostly in an earth-toned color palette) were showcased by Armani’s legion of impeccably-dressed models.

The Fall 2025 season of Milan Fashion Week came to an almighty close earlier today, with Giorgio Armani rounding out the 6-day Milanese fashion extravaganza the only way he knows how – producing a dazzling display of elegance, refinement, and pure unapologetic glamour. The undisputed king of Italian fashion sent an array of exquisite looks down the runway, from sweeping chiffon to intricate embellishments – and in a chic earthy-toned color palette.

The second portion of Milan Fashion Week served up Fausto Puglisi’s Roberto Cavalli collectionen titled ‘Pompeii Future’. Puglisi’s latest was ultimately inspired by his fascination with Pompeii and Vesuvius. Donatella Versace welcomed guests (including Ice Spice to Hyunjin) to Milan’s historic Darsena tram depot, where the legendary designer continued to play with the iconic Versace house codes.

Mikey Madison’s new photos from the London Vanity Fair Rising Star party demonstrated that red is her color after all as she stunned in an archival Giorgio Armani dress. Arriving at the event, her red-hot minidress with a matching blazer completely stole the show. Madison pulled out the archive piece from the luxury Italian fashion house recreated from its iconic 90’s collection. Fashion stylist Jamie Mizrah masterminded the chic and flirty look by combining business dressing with hints of playfulness, and there’s something too alluring about it.

The “Anora” actor’s attire looked subtly risqué in photos, proving that while she was all about business, one can always have a little fun with dressing. Her gorgeous dress comprised a V-neckline and a red belt around the waist. The skirt consisted of pleats and was shorter than expected, just reaching her thighs. Madison layered it with a matching red blazer longer than the dress and had structured shoulders while she also wore black gloves to beat the cold weather. Finally, she added black sheer tights and completed the fit with suede black pumps from Manolo Blahnik, as per the Instagram fan page Mikey Madison Closet.

Before stepping out for the party in the Giorgio Armani dress, Mikey Madison also made a red Simone Rocha gown work at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards. Her simplistic satin ensemble with a halter neck and a backless design was elegant as she braved the city’s cold weather. Madison’s recent exceedingly fashionable appearances exhibited her bold side, showing she is a force to be reckoned with both on and off-screen. Moreover, these powerful red carpet appearances backed the point as she now heads for the Oscars with a Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role nomination for her latest work, “Anora.”

That’s a wrap on Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025. From January 27-30, the schedule the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode inflicted upon was one for the books (despite the notable absence of Iris Van Herpsn, Maison Margiela, and Fendi). Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli was the visionary who kicked couture week into high gear (and high style) earlier this week. Roseberry’s surrealist-inspired collection boasted bold silhouettes and intricate ornate detailing as a love letter to the art of haute couture. Maria Grazia Chiuri reflected back on collections from the 1950s at Christian Dior while Giorgio Armani made a splash commemorating the 20th anniversary of Armani Privé. Elsewhere within the City of Light, Alessandro Michele made his highly-anticipated couture debut as Valentino creative director and we witnessed Ludovic de Saint Sernin as guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier.

Last night, amidst the glitz and glamour of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani celebrated the 20th anniversary of Giorgio Armani Privé. At 90, the legendary Italian designer welcomed guests (like Demi Moore) inside the newly inaugurated Palazzo Armani on Rue François Premier. The opulent and impressive rooms served as the perfect backdrop for Sig. Armani’s dazzling Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Spring 2025 spectacle. Column silhouettes, sumptuous fabrics, and the deepest jewel tones were on full display, with Armani paying homage to past collections (in addition to the idea of a journey from East to West). Designed to catch the light, the sumptuous and elegant lineup was aptly titled “Lumierès” to commemorate two delightful decades of pure unapologetic glamour and elegance.

Since January 17, we’ve been obsessing over the Fall 2025 season of Menswear Milan Fashion Week. The schedule this season has been a more subdued affair. However, the MFW heavyweights have made up for the designers and fashion houses who opted to show off schedule (or produce a co-ed show later this year). The iconic Italian design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana dialed up the glamour, for a high-octane show complete with an army of paparazzi, flashing cameras, and faux fur. Prada co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons had a three-story structure erected within the Fondazione Prada (complete with a custom carpet designed by Catherine Martin). The design duo explored “human nature, basic instincts, as a tool for fundamental human creativity. You’ve no doubt become aware that British Vogue is a shadow of its former self. Even more so, now that Edward Enninful is out the door and we’ve got Chioma Nnadi as his replacement. Added to Nnadi’s list of cover accomplishments this month is Renée Zellweger, who graces the cover of British Vogue for February 2025. The American actress poses before the lens of photographer Nikolai von Bismarck for the occasion, complete with Tonne Goodman on styling duties. In the joyous cover shot, Zellweger is all smiles as she throws her head back in laughter, dressed in a chic Giorgio Armani suit jacket accessorized with a scarf from Charvet.

Monica Barbaro created a major fashion moment at the Los Angeles premiere of her brand-new film, “A Complete Unknown.” On December 10, the actor graced the red carpet, donning a show-stopping plunging black gown from Giorgio Armani. Alluring pearl-like embellishments adorned the gown, making it look straight out of a world of art. Barbaro exuded elegance and glamor in the dress. The event took place at the Dolby Theatre, in Los Angeles.

Monica Barbaro looked like an art installation while attending the “A Complete Unknown” Los Angeles premiere at the Dolby Theatre. The actor chose to wear an elegant black gown from the Italian luxury fashion house, Giorgio Armani. The sleeveless gown showcased a deep plunging V neckline and thin straps. The form-fitted bodice of the gown displayed two cutouts around the waist, giving it a more structural and artistic look.

From the waistline, the gown fell into a figure-hugging skirt that became flowy at the bottom like a fishtail ensemble. It also featured white pearl-like adornments throughout the outfit. The pearl-like embellishments were heavier around the waist and the bottom hemline. It gave the actor an ethereal look. The gown complemented the actor’s gorgeous and toned figure.

Monica Barbaro accessorized her look by wearing a pair of dainty and sparkly earrings and a ring. The stunning pieces of jewelry were from the luxury brand. As for makeup, the actor went for a glamorous look. It included eyeshadow, black eyeliner, mascara, a subtle pink blush on the cheeks, and a berry lip. Barbabro wore her dark hair loose with a side part, which was taken care of by hairstylist Owen Gould. Meanwhile, Samantha Lau served as the makeup artist, while Stylist Jeanann Williams curated the entire look.

Besides Monica Barbaro, “A Complete Unknown” also stars Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Edward Norton, and Boyd Holbrook, among others.
