Rocco Liu has been at the helm of Vogue China since the September 2024 issue, having replaced Margaret Zhang (who served as editor-in-chief from 2021-2024). Thankfully, Liu has a penchant for models. Since taking up the mantle of the Chinese fashion bible, names like Lina Zhang, He Cong, and Jiahui Zhang have become cover girls. Next up on the cover of Vogue China is Liu Wen. The prolific Chinese beauty graces the April 2025 edition via the lens of the photographic duo Sean+Seng. Liu Xiao reported for the styling duties for the occasion, opting to dress the current face of Saint Laurent and Ferragamo in a look from Daniel Lee’s Burberry Spring 2025 collection for the official print cover (below).

“I feel blessed,” immediately confessed prylvi upon seeing the covers.

“Thankful that Liu Wen exists. This is what models do!” Abby Zacky heralded.

Simera was in the same frame of mind, commenting: “OMG, amazing! This is why Liu Wen is one of my favorites!”

“WOW!” exclaimed forum member Ihhbl.

Vogue China has the best covers lately! Jiahui Zhang last month, He Cong in February, and now Liu Wen. Liu is such an awesome model, she can never do wrong. I love, love, love her,” enthused Valentine27.

Also impressed with the outcome was audace. “Never understood why Sean+Seng didn’t take off. I’ve always enjoyed their work a lot, and it is very polished – in a good way,” they complimented.

The April 2025 issue of British Vogue marks the first anniversary of Chioma Nnadi as head of editorial content (having replaced Edward Enninful). To say, we here at theFashionSpot, have been underwhelmed by Nnadi’s seemingly best efforts would be an understatement (of somewhat epic proportions). Not even covers starring the likes of Zendaya, Sophie Turner, Kylier Jenner, or Tyla have managed to impress. Nnadi welcomes Bella Ramsey onto the cover of British Vogue this month, marking the British actress’ debut Vogue cover appearance. Bella poses before the lens of photographer Paolo Roversi for the occasion. In the closeup portrait cover shot, stylist Ib Kamara selected a tartan-check jacket and blouse from Burberry for Ramsey to showcase.

“It’s giving nothing,” immediately noted ReneSanchez.

“It’s all very odd. Every month, UK Vogue feels like an act of well-meaning self-sabotage,” tigerrouge added.

“Looks like Vogue Children,” thiago exclaimed.

Also not exactly jumping for joy was forum member honeycombchild. “Ergh, one of those horrible double edged swords. So interesting and great to see Bella Ramsey here… but then the result itself is just so bloody grim and grey and dreary!”

“Oh, this cover actually scared me. She looks like an old Victorian doll or creepy child,” voiced Simera.

Little House on the Prairie chic?” asked GivenchyHomme.

“I don’t hate it, it’s stronger visually than most of their last covers,” blueorchid defended.

“I really like this, actually. Bella looks lovely and the color palette is very soothing,” defended aracic.

That’s a wrap on the Fall 2025 season of London Fashion Week. Running from February 20 until February 24, the schedule put out by The British Fashion Council proved to be a far more streamlined affair in comparison to seasons past – but that didn’t stop the remaining designers from showing up and showing out.

To open up LFW with a bang, Harris Reed insisted upon Florence Pugh taking to the catwalk for a drama-filled runway showcase complete with live musicians. Richard Quinn showed his Fall 2025 collection in London on a whimsical, snowy runway and dialed up the glamour (and then some). Mid-century gothic made a comeback via Bora Aksu, whose collection boasted romantic silhouettes in a black and white color palette with pops of pink. Dilara Findikoglu brought LFW show-goers to an industrial nightclub in North London while Simone Rocha’s show was defined by faux fur tops, tulle accessories, and an abundance of bows. To conclude London Fashion Week, Daniel Lee at Burberry gave us a celebration of all-things British.

From Erdem Moralıoğlu taking over the British Museum and partnering with the artist Kaye Donachie to Roksanda seeking inspiration from the artist Phyllida Barlow – scroll further for theFashionSpot’s highlights of London Fashion Week Fall 2025:

Today marks the conclusion of the Fall 2025 season of London Fashion Week, with Daniel Lee of Burberry rounding out The British Fashion Council’s schedule of shows. Rumors have been rampant for a number of months that Lee is set to exit Burberry as creative director, having joined the British luxury fashion house in 2022. Earlier today, the English designer welcomed guests (including the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jodie Turner-Smith) inside the historic Tate Britain. An equally as impressive lineup graced the royal blue runway, as Lee cast Lesley Manville, Naomi Campbell, and Kirsty Hume to walk his show (a showcase of quintessential British cool with jewel-toned suiting, sleek outerwear, and fringed gowns).

Burberry Fall 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“The casting was absolutely amazing! The rest I don’t care.” [GivenchyAddict]

“Dated and no story in one word: disjointed. Feels like Daniel Lee has been there 6 years already doing the same type of collection.” [PDFSD]

“Considering the assignment it was good.” [tatouejeremie]

“The color palette was really nice. He still managed to maintain some of his Daniel Lee signature pieces, mixed in with some more merchandise stuff in. The celeb casting was fine and made sense.” [Thefrenchy]

“I really loved it. Daniel Lee is after all very talented.” [Lola701]

“Probably his best collection to date. I don’t like everything (the coat on Edie Campbell was atrocious) but most of it is so desirable! Good job!” [Ihhbl]

“A fantastic casting and not a bad show at all, given the fact the previous ones were car crashes to say the least. The color palette is gorgeous. The coats in particular were stunning. Naomi’s look was incredible.” [proseccotabis]

Mikey Madison layered in a full package of cold classics for her recent outing. With many celebrities opting for winter essentials in their recent photos, the actor served a masterclass on making winter fashion cohesive. On Wednesday, she stepped out in London to promote her film “Anora” at the Global Radio Studios. Keeping her look mostly monochrome, she layered her all-black fit with a stunning Burberry coat that elevated her ensemble.

The actor is keeping herself busy promoting the film, which has earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. She has been sporting classic winter fashion and has mastered the art of chic layering over the past few appearances.

Mikey Madison is relying on winter classics in her recent outfits during the promotional tour for her film “Anora.” The actor stepped out in London wearing a chic fit that proved she knows a thing or two about winter fashion. Photos documented her arriving at Global Radio Studios in an all-black skirt suit paired with a tailored Burberry coat. A few additional accessories only complemented her look, exuding a formal yet fashionable vibe.

Mikey Madison wore a black high-waisted skirt, pairing it with a matching full-sleeve turtleneck. She brought her monochrome look together with black-footed tights. Breaking out of the all-black piece, the actor layered her outfit with a taupe Burberry wool coat. The coat, which layered over Madison’s shoulders, featured sharp lapels, an exposed seam at the waist, and quintessential buttons and pockets.

The “Scream” actor further accessorized her chic winter fit with a small green handbag and black sunglasses. She topped off her ensemble with green strappy closed-toe heels that served as an elegant addition to her look.

Mikey Madison let her winter fashion shine, opting for rings as the only pieces of jewelry. The actor left her long black tresses open, and in soft waves that flowed with chilly London winds. She also opted for a subtle make-up that worked well with her layered outfit.

The “Anora” star has worn several monochrome looks throughout her past few appearances. From experimenting with warm and cool colors to opting for classics like a black or white fit, Madison is truly cementing her fashion icon status.

Sydney Sweeney recently proved she has just the right outfit for every weather, whether it be sun or snow. On January 19, the star looked like the snow queen in a gorgeous all-white look. The ensemble featured thick fabric and feathers, bringing together some of the elements quintessential to winter fashion. In the photos, the actor was caught in a frolicky mood as she scooped up some snow from the New York City streets. She went on to form snowballs out of it, throwing them around for some good fun on the chilly winter evening.

Sydney Sweeney showed that she is always up for some snowy fun, getting into a quick snowball fight on the streets of NYC. Despite the frigid weather, she didn’t miss the opportunity to make the outing fashionable. The actor stunned in an all-white outfit, which was incredibly fitting for the snowy evening. She looked like a true diva as she donned a thick winter coat with white ostrich feather trims.

The coat seemed to be made of a woolen material with a cute zip-up detail decorating the front. It also featured gold buttons and a white belt that lent some form to the coat’s straight silhouette. The belt helped cinch in the waist, making sure Sweeney’s outfit didn’t end up looking too chunky. She wore the coat over a simple ankle-length dress in a matching shade.

The all-white look wouldn’t be complete without matching accessories. Thus, the star paired her ensemble with a pair of pointed-toe boots in white. The boots had a low block heel, making them a safe footwear choice for the snowy weather. She also carried a white leather handbag to further elevate her fit. The bag featured gold accents that complemented her gorgeous blonde hair and her coat’s gold buttons.

However, Sydney Sweeney’s choice of eyewear to brave the NYC snow was quite unique, as she rocked a pair of sunglasses. Although it was dark out when she was photographed, the actor donned a chic pair of oval sunnies. For the wintry look, her hair was one of the highlights, which she had parted down the middle. She styled her luscious locks into soft, beachy waves. For makeup, she went with a mauve-hued lip shade and a healthy dose of blush.

According to celebrity stylist Molly Dickson’s latest Instagram post, the look was all-Burberry. Moreover, her hair was styled by Glen Coco and MUA Melissa Hernandez was behind her flawless makeup look.

Vogue Korea editor-in-chief Shin Kwang-ho has superb taste in models. After all, throughout 2024 alone, models like Lulu Tenney, Georgia Palmer, Vittoria Ceretti, Nora Attal, Mona Tougaard, and Irina Shayk have graced the Korean fashion bible. Next up on the cover of Vogue Korea for November 2024 is Iris Law. Kwang-ho pays tribute to the British beauty across a twosome of covers, celebrating “the rise of Iris”. Via the lens of photographer Hyea W. Kang and with styling from the magazine’s fashion director Eunyoung Sohn, Iris who has been the face of fashion brands like Versace and Guess wears looks from Daniel Lee’s Fall 2024 Burberry collection (another brand to which Iris Law has been the face).

“Iris Law is beautiful, but these covers are just not it,” shared Idyll upon checking out the covers.

“Such boring covers. I am never able to understand the Vogue Korea aesthetic,” Hafyiez wafa chimed in.

“The rise of a nepobaby who has NOTHING to offer!” declared an uninterested DK92.

Also far from impressed was forum member zoom, stating: “Iris Law does not have it.”

“Girl needs to let go. She is trying too hard,” added an equally as disinterested oaklee91.

“For a star on the rise, this was beneath a level that she needed to reach to continue that climb,” voiced jeremeydante.

“To be honest, I’m kinda into this,” admitted vogue28. “Not the most groundbreaking or fierce of Vogue Korea covers I’ve seen this year but I do like all those muted colors and textures.”

Two down, two to go and that’s a wrap on London Fashion Week. Running from September 12-17, this LFW Spring 2025 season was a complete amalgamation of new and established talent. To conclude the 40th anniversary of London Fashion Week, The British Fashion Council granted us a jam-packed schedule to round out the festivities.

Report: London Fashion Week Spring 2025

This London Fashion Week was a special one for Harris Reed who was on the official schedule for the very first time. The young talent (and current creative director of Nina Ricci) presented in the Tanks of the Tate Modern and sent OTT dramatic silhouettes down the catwalk and emphasized on upcycling materials. With the 2024 Queen Elizabeth II Award to his name, S.S. Daley debuted his first womenswear collection – complete with Harry Styles sitting perched front tow. Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons of Chopova Lowena returned to the LFW schedule this season, with a collection inspired by American heroines (like Calamity Jane).

After three seasons showing with Fashion East, Standing Ground spearheaded by Michael Stewart flew solo at London Fashion Week. The young Irish designer’s show boasted diaphanous drapes, molded leather coats and Stewart’s signature beaded column dresses. Always a LFW highlight, it was all in the details at Richard Quinn. Each of the 45 looks embodied Quinn’s vision of elegance via masterful shape, volume, and fabrication. Following a two-season hiatus, Nensi Dojaka returned to the London Fashion Week schedule with her signature cut-out dresses – and a Calvin Klein collaboration.

Slick suiting contrasted with floating feathered dresses and exaggerated bows at Roksanda. JW Anderson credited the girliness of his sister as inspiration for his spring collection. An array of variations of the mini dress was sent down the catwalk, staged within London’s Old Billingsgate market. The celebrated designer’s collection was filled with sculptural silhouettes, interwoven panels of fabric and exaggerated ballet skirts. Daniel Lee at Burberry rounded out the London Fashion Week festivities this season, opting to remix the brand’s heritage for the season ahead.

“Loewe leftovers.” [rowjellies]

“Well he was clearly busy with other projects (such as costumes for “Queer”) than his own label, so we have a parade of mediocre, low-quality trash that he presented because he literally had to.” [Olaffo]

“God knows I enjoy his menswear at both JWA and Loewe, but I will NEVER like his womenswear. Ever. It always feels like a forced exercise for him, with close to no point of view for each collection. Scrolling through those looks I can’t help but wonder who is she meant to be. The answer is no one, because there is nobody here. It’s a bunch of fabric placed on models treated as mannequins.” [Thefrenchy]

“It’s truly embarrassing. The delusion this person has is insane. The show is so cringe. The models aimlessly and cluelessly flapping their arms around like CoUTuRe. Calling this amateur would be putting it lightly.” [lookatme]

“Daniel Lee is so checked out at this point. I give him another year or less.” [rowjellies]

“Last week the brand’s stocks were down over 70% vs. a year a go. Mostly over concerns that they cannot right the ship and this collection did absolutely nothing to comfort those fears. There was one good jacket. No great bag(s), no decent shoes, not even a good pair of sunglasses.” [VogueDisciple93]

“Failed again unfortunately. There is no voice. Nobody knows what Burberry wants to be. Sales (according to that BOF article) are down about 22% this year. That set looked like a St Martins graduation show and the feathers on the jackets followed by sequins and graphic scarves looked like a total mess.” [Deleted Member]

“I was greatly impressed! I will definitely be following this brand/designer now. Such modernity and chicness to evening dressing.” [VogueDisciple93]

“When a young designer from LFW does a more relevant Alaïa collection than Mullier. I love the textures he managed to create, they are so interesting. Everything is so sensual and effortless. For sure one name to watch!” [IloveDiorHomme]

“Everything looks unfinished… something is missing in every look.” [tourbillions]

“Nensi Dojaka used to do this boudoir kinda fashion so well 3 years back. I guess the blandification of fashion got to her.” [philophile]

“I really don’t understand her success. Everything Nensi Dojaka makes looks like there isn’t enough to it. So lacking and wane.” [Cocteau Stone]

HIT | Aaron Esh

“Quite good. Stylish even, and that’s a word I would never use to describe London fashion. It doesn’t feel like fashion student fashion.” [Alquimista]

“Very cohesive.” [tourbillions]

“I like what he’s doing, mainly because he and Michael Stewart’s Standing Ground are one of the rare younger designers who are designing something different. It’s chic, sexy, desirable and with a bit more technical finesse to his tailoring, I could see him going very far.” [LadyJunon]

HIT | Sharon Wauchob

“So freaking pretty and delicate! That’s how I like it.” [philophile]

“Sharon Wauchob is the LFW QUEEN and I love that she keeps herself low profile. Everything about her designs is so special and intimate! I’m in awe of those white tops, the white trousers, the first black dress, the trench coat. The white jacket! I want it all!” [WAVES]

“Beautiful and feminine clothing, as per usual.” [Not Plain Jane]

“Very… Chanel audition. Grandmas curtain couture.” [tourbillions]

“Too twee; too granny. Needs some edge to make it more interesting.” [Not Plain Jane]

“A little less tulle wrapping and this would’ve been perfect.” [WAVES]

MISS | Natasha Zinko

“Oh. Dear. Chin straps? Hospital shoe covers? Underwear dresses?” [Not Plain Jane]

“The collection itself is very high street trendy, which means that is already behind the trends, and quite incoherent when taken as a whole.” [YohjiAddict]

MISS | Chopova Lowena

“What exactly is this supposed to be?” [Constructionist]

“When you want to make your very own Gaultier/Westwood creation for the Friday night outing to the club and you have only old tablecloths to concoct it from…” [YohjiAddict]

“Please… put us out of our misery. This has to end.” [lookatme]

MISS | Simone Rocha

“So sloppy.” [lookatme]

“She’s been telling the same story for far too long.” [TianCouture]

“I see a lot of Molly Goddard leftover vibes this time, especially the knits and the menswear looks. The last 3 looks… Shepherd Bush fabric yard sale?” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]

MISS | Knwls

“They had a semi-moment riding off that Y2K trend, but this look is very dated now.” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]

“Who is this for? Club kids in Berlin?” [rowjellies]

“A British version of LaQuan Smith, trying to do early 00s Dior by Galliano. And with some Philip Treacy-inspired hats for no reason at all.” [jeanclaude]

HIT | Richard Quinn

“Can’t hate on it, as it’s all so well made. This is what Harris Reed thinks he is doing.” [tourbillions]

“You could never make me hate Richard Quinn. A sight for sore eyes during London Fashion Week. He’s in a league of his own on the LFW circuit. Absolutely love the sight of some Pierpaolo Piccioli x Valentino glamour, following an endless array of student-esque and grungy collections.” [vogue28]

MISS | Erdem

“I can’t understand how or why this brand exists.” [lookatme]

“Erdem could have delivered a more exciting result had he played on the masculine/feminine and the ‘coming-undone’ tension a bit more. When he’s in a good form, I can see a bit of Dries’ charm in him and at his worst, he churns out looks that could be right out of Maria Grazia’s sketchbook.” [tricotineacetat]

“Huge mess.” [velvetandsilk]

That’s a wrap on London Fashion Week, with The British Fashion Council’s 6-day schedule coming to an end earlier today with the staging of Daniel Lee’s highly anticipated offering for Burberry. The British designer, who has been the creative force behind the iconic British fashion label since 2022, welcomed guests like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gabrille Union inside London’s National Theatre. Against a custom set designed by YBA art legend Gary Hume, models paraded Lee’s remix of Burberry staples.

Elsewhere during London Fashion Week, Roksanda drew inspiration from the work of Hungarian artist Agnes Denes, a pioneer of environmental art. Slick suiting contrasted with floating feathered dresses and exaggerated bows. At JW Anderson, the revered Irish designer’s show composed almost entirely of mini dresses and chose the Old Billingsgate on the River Thames as a venue.

Needless to say, as the Spring 2025 season of London Fashion Week marked the conclusion of the 40th anniversary of LFW – designers and fashion brands pulled out all the stops in an attempt to impress.
