The Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue campaigns have become somewhat of an icon. Since the launch of the scent in 2001 (for women) and 2007 (for men), a series of sultry campaigns have transported us to the idyllic island of Capri. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana first called upon David Gandy as the face and embodiment of the citrus-inspired fragrance, who has been joined by the likes of Anna Jagodzińska and Bianca Balti over the years. The installment for 2025 sees Theo James and Vittoria Ceretti couple up for the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue campaign. The pair ventured down to the Capri shoreline for the occasion, captured by Gordon von Steiner under the warm Italian sunshine as the dramatic Faraglioni rock formations loom in the background.

“Always been a fan of the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue campaigns, and love the continuation of the Capri concept. It’s all just executed so well by Gordon von Steiner, and I love Vittoria Ceretti for the campaign. “Stunning, albeit mainstream, which is the aim of the campaign, I reckon. Both Theo James and Vittoria Ceretti look hot,” admired WAVES upon first look.

Not everyone, however, was so forthcoming. “This change in Vittoria’s eye color is very questionable, and I don’t know if Theo James was the right person. He’s not very photogenic, despite being very sexy and hot! I have mixed feelings about the final result,” shared DK92.

“So a blue-eyed model wasn’t available? This is definitely a step down from the perfection of David Gandy and Bianca Balti,” marsnoop2 noted.

Back in January, Chanel gave us our first glimpse at the Chanel 25 handbag advertising campaign with Dua Lipa (making the English-Albanian singer’s first official outing as brand ambassador). A few months later and we’ve got another global superstar fronting the Chanel 25 handbag campaign for 2025. Give it up for Jennie who joins Dua Lipa throughout the print campaign series, lensed by photographer David Sims (with Gordon von Steiner capturing the accompanying campaign film). Jennie (of the K-pop sensation Blackpink) first joined Chanel in 2017, having been appointed the face of Chanel Beauté. The South Korean singer totes an array of variations of the handbag crafted with the iconic Chanel quilting, which debuted at the Chanel Spring 2025 showcase during Paris Fashion Week.

Fresh from attending the Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2025 showcase in Paris, Dua becomes the face and embodiment of the handbag crafted with the iconic Chanel quilting, and features an interlaced chain and multiple pockets. In the campaign video by Gordon von Steiner, the English-Albanian singer roams the streets of New York while poses for David Sims in the accompanying print imagery.

Photographed and directed by Gordon von Steiner, Bella takes to the city of Paris while paying homage to past cover girls like Lisa Fonssagrives. In the moving cover image (below), stylist Jorden Bickham opted for a red Givenchy number and a featured hat from Koché.

Are digital covers…worth it? “That digital cover is magnificent! Really intriguing to watch. I wish that was an actual cover, would’ve been a great fit for the May issue,” applauded slayage upon first look.

“Should’ve been a real cover. What a waste,” said HodanChloe.

“Wow! This would be amazing in print, so sad it’s only digital,” jorgepalomo echoed.

Bluebanter felt the same way, writing, “Bella’s cover is actually much better than the print covers!”

“I actually love the look of that shoot etc but I hate the idea of a digital cover. Would have been amazing in print, especially the video featuring the McQueen look,” voiced Bertrando3.

The outcome wasn’t to everyone’s taste, however. “Why they think we would need this cover… and with her?” mused IndigoHomme.

“I’m not getting the appeal of a legless Bella, the room looks like it’s been condemned, and if you tried to convince an old-style ballet teacher that holding your body like that was creating elegant lines, you’d get the stick on the back of your legs,” tigerrouge commented.
